YNK . . . how far you can go in a book, on a bike, on foot, in
water! Log the number of pages you read or miles you travel
(under your own power!) to meet or beat the miles the Teen Services
Librarian bicycles each day as she treks across the state on the annual
Pedal Across Lower Michigan. Turn in your form by Monday,
July 16 and pick up your prize.

Monkey

No prior sewing experience needed. Join us to
create some lovable sock monkeys. The sewing is simple, and
will be a great skill to have to repair ripped clothing when you're off
a camp or college or to create more monkeys for friends.
Registration encouraged.

Join us as we anticipate the release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hallows" Enjoy movies, costume contest, and trivia
games. Come dressed as a character from Harry Potter's world
for a chance to win our costume contest. Snacks and pizza
served. YNK . . . you may win a prize!
Party begins at 1:00 and continues after library closing.

The Dollmaker

"Books, Chat, & Chow" meets "Between the Lines" for a joint
discussion of The Dollmaker by Harriett Arnow. Encourage an adult
in your life to read this Michigan based classic and attend this
multi-generational program. Snacks!

YNK . . . until winners are announced at our final party. Join the festivities featuring food
and our full video game package of DDR, X-Box 360 racing, and PS2 Guitar Hero!
Attendees are eligible for bonus door prizes. Need not be present
to win YNK Summer Reading Program second, first and grand prize drawing
