The Northville District Library offers our diverse community the means to discover, learn, grow, and enjoy life. We provide and promote resources and connections to the world of knowledge and imagination.
Our Service Community
The Northville District Library serves the citizens of City of Northville and Northville Township. The District was formed in 1994. The Library is funded by a voter approved millage.
Our Board of Trustees
The Library is governed by a seven (7) member Board of Trustees who serve to administer District funds and resources, and to formulate and approve library policies. Trustees meet monthly at the library, typically on the 4th Thursday of the month. The general public is always welcome to attend Board of Trustees meetings.
We are proud of our dedicated staff, all of whom work hard as a team to provide the very best service to our patrons. Our goal is to make sure that each and every visit to your library is a pleasant and successful one.
Our Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Northville District Library are truly our best friends. This wonderful group of volunteers works tirelessly to advocate for the library, raises funds for extra purchases not covered in our annual budget and assists with special events and programs. You are welcome to join and become a member of the Friends too!
